WASHINGTON — Democrats and Republicans are at odds over key health care policies included in last year’s tax cut law.
Democrats argue that the law’s Medicaid work requirements would create red tape that could lead to people not qualifying for insurance. Republicans say the measure is an incentive to work.
But the law does not require states to report on the implementation of this sweeping change to Medicaid, so we may never get a detailed explanation of how the policy is working.
