    SpotitEarly partners with HITLAB

SpotitEarly, a multi-cancer early detection company, on Thursday announced a strategic partnership with HITLAB to accelerate the commercialization of its screening test across the United States.

Through this partnership, HITLAB will support SpotitEarly’s growth through investor introductions, strategic advice, and speaking opportunities throughout the year.

According to a July 16 press release, SpotitEarly plans to bring its breast cancer breath test to the commercial market in 2027.

SpotitEarly’s non-invasive breath test reads cancer odor signatures in a person’s breath through the LUCID Bio-AI hybrid system. The system combines machine learning with the odor detection capabilities of trained dogs, using sensors to capture a dog’s behavioral and physiological responses and standardize them into “consistent, data-driven results,” the company said.

SpotitEarly CEO Dr. Shlomi Madar said in a statement: “The next step is to help the investment and healthcare communities see what our data shows and understand the scale of the opportunity. HITLAB is at the center of digital health innovation, connecting us directly with investors, health system leaders, and key thought leaders who can help bring this technology to patients who need it.”

Novant Health partners with K Health to roll out new primary care model

Winston-Salem, North Carolina-based Novant Health announced Wednesday that it has expanded its primary care services with 24/7 patient access through a new integrated model.

Novant Health Virtual Primary Care appointments can be made through the system’s website and MyChart. Sanjay Gupta, Novant Health executive vice president and chief transformation officer, said in a statement that the redesign is “the first step in a broader effort to transform how and where health care is delivered.”

“While some patients prefer to be seen in person, many patients want the convenience of virtual care without sacrificing a trusted, personal relationship with a dedicated primary care clinician,” said Gupta. “By combining our clinical expertise with advanced digital tools, we will expand our ability to meet patients where they are, delivering high-quality virtual primary care that fits into their daily lives, while enabling patients to build ongoing trusted doctor-patient relationships virtually.”

The health system also announced a strategic partnership with AI platform K Health to incorporate digital AI assistants into virtual care visits. Also featured will be PatientGPT, K Health’s clinical AI tool that is fully integrated into medical records.

GW RhythmX launches RhythmX Pulse on Microsoft Marketplace

GW RhythmX has made its real-time clinical intelligence application RhythmX Pulse available on Microsoft Marketplace, the company announced Wednesday.

This list enables customers to deploy solutions across Microsoft Azure and other Microsoft platforms.

RhythmX Pulse integrates with Dragon Copilot to transform captured patient encounters into personalized recommendations for clinicians. According to the company, the solution matches documented patient visits with everything known about the patient, including medical history, current medications, clinical guidelines, social background, payer regulations, prescribing requirements, and care gaps.

Recommendations include improved documentation, care gap alerts, HCC and coding opportunities, guideline-based treatment options, and prescription-aware drug alternatives.

Organizations already using Dragon Copilot can add RhythmX Pulse through Microsoft Marketplace with no separate implementation required.

“Clinical AI is more than just finding summaries and guidelines. Dragon Copilot users get the validated, hyper-personalized guidance they need to deliver cutting-edge precision care at every turn,” Deepthi Bathina, CEO and founder of GW RhythmX, said in a statement. “Through Dragon Copilot, GW RhythmX checks symptoms against a patient’s full medical history, current guidelines, social and financial intelligence, and payer and prescribing regulations, giving clinicians clear next-best actions, not just an overview or general guidance.”

GW RhythmX has completed more than 170,000 physician-reviewed clinical validations to date, executives said.

According to GW RhythmX, this launch is the first step in a broader collaboration between the two companies. Future planned features will extend recommendations earlier and later in the entire care journey.

    Machineify adds genetic testing capabilities

Health intelligence company Machify announced Monday that it is adding genetic testing capabilities to its payments intelligence platform.

Machineify says the expansion marks “another step” in using AI to make advanced healthcare payment decisions. Additionally, this expands on Machinify’s previous acquisition of InformedDNA’s genetic testing payment integrity business, executives said.

The company’s platform applies its specialized genetic testing knowledge base to each payer’s health plan to evaluate claims. According to the company, one Medicaid program has seen savings of more than $70 million with this feature.

“Specialty areas like genetic testing are more important than ever. The science is evolving every day and spending is accelerating dramatically,” Tom Magnotta, president of Machinify Complex Payment Solutions, said in a statement. “We are aggressively investing in and expanding the content on our platform. Genetic testing is just one of the many areas where Machinify is deploying solutions that use an AI-first approach to solve complex challenges for our clients.”

This feature is now available to customers through the platform’s prepaid solution or postpaid extension.
