Visitors to the LB Bohle stand in booth 1619 can see how the company’s latest equipment supports continuous manufacturing and improves pharmaceutical production processes and product development efficiency.
These three technology highlights demonstrate advances in continuous oral solid dosage manufacturing, laboratory tablet coating, and pharmaceutical particle processing.
QbCon® 1 Truly continuous wet granulation and drying
The QbCon® 1 continuous wet granulation and drying system represents a significant advance in the production of continuous oral solid dosages. This system combines continuous feed, biaxial wet granulation, and drying into one compact mobile unit.
Advanced features include advanced material handling, very short residence time in the dryer, automatic exhaust filter self-cleaning, and high containment. An integrated control system increases operational flexibility while increasing operator safety.
QbCon® 1 is designed to provide a narrow residence time distribution that simplifies material traceability in continuous processes. This facilitates the tracking of materials from raw material to finished tablets, supporting accelerated scale-up.
Integrated process analysis also helps reduce resource consumption and shorten drug development time.

BFC 5 Laboratory Tablet Coater
The BFC 5 experimental tablet coater is
LB all stand.
It provides a compact, mobile, stand-alone solution for tablet coating operations, allowing simultaneous spraying, mixing, and drying under tightly controlled conditions to achieve optimal coating uniformity.
Airflow management, electrical systems, and process control are fully integrated, with multi-panel visualization possible through an intuitive touchscreen interface.
This system is suitable for batch sizes ranging from 2 to 13 liters. Mini drums, on the other hand, can handle pilot batches of 170 to 350 ml. This makes BFC 5 particularly suitable for research and development and process optimization.
BTS 200 Pharmaceutical Sieving Machine
The third technology highlight at INTERPHEX is the BTS 200 pharmaceutical sieving machine, demonstrating LB Bohle’s advanced engineering in particle processing.
The system can calibrate particle size for dry or wet products and is also ideal for general mixing and sieving operations with throughputs of up to 3 tons per hour.
Optimized various perforated friction type conical sieve inserts enable this machine to process a variety of powders and pharmaceutical materials.
The latest BTS 200 design includes an innovative impeller configuration that reduces product loss, optimized CIP cleaning, electrical height adjustment, and user-friendly touchscreen controls.

rapid development
“Continuous manufacturing and flexible development scale technologies are becoming increasingly important to the manufacturing of modern oral solid dosage forms,” said Mike Fazio, director of sales and marketing for LB Bohle LLC.
“At INTERPHEX 2026, we will demonstrate how our latest systems support faster development, improved process control and more efficient drug manufacturing,” he added.
Visitors to booth 1619 at INTERPHEX 2026 will be able to see the system first-hand and discuss applications in continuous manufacturing, tablet coating, and pharmaceutical particle processing with LB Bohle experts.
