Redipor Legionella Media provides a comprehensive ISO 11731-compliant medium designed for parallel plating in non-selective and selective media to maximize recovery across a variety of environmental sample types, as required by ISO 11731. Plate options include BCYE (buffered charcoal yeast extract) with growth factors and selection agents, GVPC (glycine vancomycin polymyxin cycloheximide) and MWY (modified Wadowsky-Yee) agar variants (PdB1.1)(GP1.2), and cysteine-free options for comparative studies.
Each Redipor medium in the new product family has a distinct role within the Legionella culture workflow: non-selective recovery (BCYE), selective separation (GVPC, MWY), and cysteine-dependent confirmation.
