Despite disruptions in some regions, global demand from the pharmaceutical industry remains stable.

514 square meters of exhibition space, 8 machines, world premiere: Pharmaceutical machinery manufacturer LB Bohle Maschinen und Verfahren GmbH from Ennigerloh exhibited its products at Interpack, a major global trade fair, in Düsseldorf. “We have our entire portfolio of process machinery on display here,” says Sales Director Tim Remmert. He expects record sales of around 80 million euros in 2025, with further growth expected in 2026 due to a strong order backlog.
With around 2,800 exhibitors, Interpack remains one of the leading trade fairs for process and packaging technology. “We were able to successfully showcase our technology on our 514 square meter stand,” says Managing Director Tim Remmert. Thanks to its proven two-storey design and well-established communication and catering concept, LB Bohle created ideal conditions for a successful trade fair visit and in-depth discussion of exhibits and technologies with international visitors.
“We showcased the comprehensive range of products in our portfolio with a total of eight machines for wet and dry granulation, milling and sorting, mixing, tablet coating and product handling. What particularly caught our eye was the BFS 240 fluidized bed system,” says Tim Remmert.
Premier: technically optimized PM container mixer with new design
The best-selling PM container mixer made its world debut at Interpack, featuring a new design and technical optimization. “Our container mixers are used in production facilities all over the world, and we are sure that the new generation will also be introduced into many production lines,” said the Sales Director. Also on display in Düsseldorf was a QbCon® 1 continuously running wet granulation and drying unit in combination with an HS 500 SL lifting column. BRC 25 and BRC 100 dry granulators. Strong order status in 2026
In the 2025 financial year, LB Bohle achieved record revenues of approximately 80 million euros. “We also expect growth this year, as our strong order backlog guarantees full production until the end of 2026,” reports Tim Remmert. However, current market trends are characterized by uncertainty, reluctance to invest, tariffs and wars in Ukraine and Iran.
Building a strong foundation amidst Asia’s uncertainties
Recently, business in Asia, especially India, has been strong. “However, the war in Iran and the disruption of supply chains in the Strait of Hormuz have created significant uncertainty in the region,” Lemmert explains. He hopes the otherwise stable pharmaceutical industry will not be significantly affected.
